Rural Development in India
Dear Sir,
I fully appreciate your aim in deriving the budget keeping in mind the rural development. But the allocation of fund to various rural development programmes are not reaching the end user. How this is going to be monitored?
For example the money allotted for reestablishing of water sources in TamilNadu is really good but the execution is going to be a failure as most of the time there is no water from Cauvery. How these reservoirs will be filled even if we clean them for the year.
I would like to recall the effort of SIRU THULI in coimbatore a mass public supported organisation, starving to reestablish the lakes and ponds in the city and now reaping the benefits while it was raining. But places in Trichy, Tanjore, Pudukottai which were all rich in water once now facing a severe short fall. How this is going to be addressed by he rulers and how are you going to monitor the execution? I belive that most of our effort is being wasted in the execution though our mind is clean about what we wants to do.
May be a neutralised body to monitor the execution without any political party's intervention is the only solution.
Thanks.
Vanchinathan
Yours Sincerely,
