Why us?
Respected FM,
Why is it that we, the young middle class of the economy have to face the brunt of successive budgets? Take my example, I work in an IT company and what did I get from the budget... Here goes
- Any ESOP that the company would have thought of giving now stands negated because ESOP is now under the FBT umbrella
- I dont stand to gain much from the increased limit as I gain only Rs 1000, which gets overly compensated by the 1% increase in education cess
- DDT is now 15%, so the company will reduce dividend payouts and so we as investors now will lose out
- IT cos under MAT bracket would impact individual employees as well...
Therefore Mr FM, if you could be kind enough to throw some light on these issues I have raised, I would be greatly obliged.
