Standard Deduction
The Standard Deduction given to salaried class was taken away. This has meant that they are being treated at par with self-employed without getting any relief for their genuine expenses. In the meantime, the tax machinery has not succeeded in unearthing black money, which has assumed alarming diamensions in sectors like real estate. Please reintroduce standard deduction so that the salaried employees can heave a sigh of relief and are treated more fairly. Thanks
