TDS for Short Term Capital Gains in Stock Transactions
Hon'ble Sir,
It is my submission that if TDS is introduced for stock transactions, it could help in evasion of tax, bring transparency and increase the revenue of the exchequer. When every transaction is computerised, it could be implemented without much hassles.
