Not genuine at heart
If only reservations were implemented with a
genuine heart, they would have long outlived
their relevance by now. The problem is that
Politics is now dominated with self-seeking
persons, criminals, businessmen with black money
etc. Coupled with this there is bad planning -
no population control, no relation between
industry and education, populist policies in
preference to developmental schemes etc are all
reasons. India is surviving as a democracy not
because of our politicians, but because of our
people who have great faith voting. We studied
in our textbooks that the British
practiced "divide and rule", our own politicians
practice "divide and loot"!
